4 Quin-KT Eye Drops is a medicine composed of Ketorolac and Moxifloxacin. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing pain and inflammation in the eyes. Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that prevents the growth of bacteria. These eye drops are primarily used to treat and prevent eye infections caused by bacterial strains susceptible to moxifloxacin. It is commonly indicated for bacterial conjunctivitis, which is characterized by redness, itching, and discharge in the eye. Usually, one to two drops are instilled into the affected eye(s) every four to six hours, depending on the severity of the infection. It is crucial to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence and the development of antibiotic resistance.
