Description

Afoglip M 20/500mg Tablet is a combination medication containing Metformin and Teneligliptin. Metformin belongs to a class of drugs called biguanides and is used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and improving insulin sensitivity in the body. Teneligliptin belongs to a class of drugs called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors and helps regulate blood sugar levels by increasing the production of insulin after a meal and reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver. Afoglip M 20/500mg Tablet is prescribed to patients with type 2 diabetes to control blood sugar levels. It helps improve glycemic control by lowering fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and other relevant tests are recommended during the course of treatment.
