Description

Amlovas-XM 5/50 Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure and certain heart conditions. It contains a combination of two active ingredients, Amlodipine and Oxymetazoline. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump and improve blood flow. This reduces blood pressure and prevents chest pain (angina). Oxymetazoline, on the other hand, is a nasal decongestant that relieves nasal congestion by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing inflammation and congestion. The combination of these two components provides effective management of both high blood pressure and nasal congestion symptoms.
