Autobact 625 Tablet is a medicine composed of two active ingredients, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxycillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, inhibits the growth of bacteria by interfering with their cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, works by preventing the inactivation of Amoxycillin, thus enhancing its effectiveness against a broader range of bacteria. Autobact 625 Tablet is primarily prescribed for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections. The combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid provides a synergistic effect, allowing Autobact 625 Tablet to target both sensitive and beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.
