Corbis AM 5 Tablet is a medicine that contains two active ingredients, Amlodipine and Bisoprolol. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker while Bisoprolol is a beta-blocker. This combination is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) in individuals whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by either medication alone. Amlodipine works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, allowing for smoother blood flow and reducing blood pressure. Bisoprolol, on the other hand, reduces the heart rate and force of contraction, thus reducing the workload of the heart and lowering blood pressure.
