Description

Cortel Trio Tablet is a medicine formulated with the combination of three active ingredients: Hydrochlorothiazide, Amlodipine, and Telmisartan. Each tablet contains a fixed dose of 12. 5 mg Hydrochlorothiazide, 5 mg Amlodipine, and 40 mg Telmisartan. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps in reducing excess fluid from the body, thus lowering blood pressure. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that prevents the narrowing of blood vessels and maintains proper blood flow. Cortel Trio Tablet is primarily used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adult patients who require multiple drugs to control their blood pressure. It helps in reducing blood pressure levels, thereby decreasing the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems associated with hypertension.
