Geripod 8mg Capsule is a medicine containing the active ingredient Silodosin Capsules. Silodosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic antagonist used to treat the symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a condition in which the prostate gland enlarges, causing difficulties in urination such as frequent urination, weak urinary flow, and incomplete emptying of the bladder. Geripod 8mg Capsule works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, relieving the symptoms caused by BPH. Silodosin has been clinically proven to improve the flow of urine by reducing the resistance in the urethra and increasing the force of urinary flow. Geripod 8mg Capsule is recommended for adult males and is typically taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day.
