Description

Lacoma-T Eye Drop is a medication used to treat intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eye) associated with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It contains two active ingredients: Lantanoprost and Benzalkonium Chloride. Lantanoprost belongs to a class of medications called prostaglandin analogs. It works by increasing the outflow of fluid from the eye, thereby reducing intraocular pressure. This helps to prevent damage to the optic nerve and improve vision. Benzalkonium Chloride is a preservative included in the eye drops to prevent bacterial growth and contamination of the product. It is typically used once daily in the evening. Prior to using the eye drops, ensure hands are clean and contact lenses are removed. Blink a few times after applying the medication to distribute the solution evenly.
