Description

Loette Tablet is a widely used contraceptive medication that contains a combination of two active ingredients, Levo-Norgestryl and Ethinyl Estradiol. Levo-Norgestryl is a form of progesterone and Ethinyl Estradiol is a synthetic form of estrogen. Together, they provide effective birth control by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to hinder sperm movement, and altering the lining of the uterus to make implantation difficult. Loette Tablet is taken orally, once a day, for 21 consecutive days followed by a 7-day break. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water, preferably at the same time each day. Aside from its contraceptive properties, Loette Tablet is also indicated for the treatment of certain menstrual disorders such as dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), irregular periods, and excessive menstrual bleeding. However, it should not be used in cases of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if there is a history of blood clotting disorders.
