Mefvir Tablet is a medicine composed of Mefenamic Acid (250mg) and Drotaverine (80mg). Mefenamic Acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps in reducing pain, inflammation, and fever. Drotaverine is a smooth muscle relaxant that acts on the smooth muscles of the uterus, blood vessels, and gastrointestinal system. Mefvir Tablet is commonly prescribed for the relief of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) by reducing the intensity and duration of uterine contractions. It effectively alleviates symptoms such as abdominal cramps, lower back pain, and discomfort during menstruation. Additionally, Mefvir Tablet can also be used for the treatment of other types of pain, such as post-operative pain, renal colic, and smooth muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract.
