My Pill Tab 21’s is a contraceptive medicine that contains two active ingredients: Ethinyl Estradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Ethinyloestradiol. Ethinyl Estradiol is a synthetic form of the hormone estrogen, and Cyproterone Acetate is an anti-androgen that works by blocking the effects of male hormones in the body. This medicine is used to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus to prevent sperm from reaching the egg, and altering the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation. It is also prescribed to treat certain hormonal conditions in women, such as polycystic ovary syndrome and hirsutism (excessive hair growth). My Pill Tab 21’s comes in a pack of 21 tablets and should be taken orally once a day, preferably at the same time each day for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day break where no tablets are taken.
