Nepacent Eye Drop contains the active ingredient Nepafenac, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation in the eyes. It inhibits the production of certain substances in the body that cause inflammation, thus providing relief from symptoms such as redness, swelling, and discomfort. Nepacent Eye Drop is prescribed for the treatment of postoperative inflammation and pain following cataract surgery. It helps to reduce inflammation and prevent the formation of cystoid macular edema (swelling in the back of the eye) that can occur after surgery. The eye drop is typically used by instilling one to two drops into the affected eye(s) as directed by the physician.
