Nevanac Eye Drops is a medicine used in the treatment of pain and inflammation following cataract surgery. Each 5ml bottle contains 0. 1% of the active ingredient, nepafenac. It belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Nevanac Eye Drops provide relief from postoperative ocular pain and reduce inflammation associated with cataract surgery. It is administered as eye drops and should be used as prescribed by a doctor. The recommended dosage is typically one drop administered into the affected eye(s) three times a day, beginning one day before the surgery and continuing until two weeks after the surgery. Nevanac Eye Drops are for topical ophthalmic use only and should not be used for any other purpose without medical advice.
