Olmin 10mg Tablet is a medicine that contains Olmesartan as its active ingredient. This medication is commonly prescribed to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults and children above the age of 6. Olmin 10mg Tablet works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which is responsible for narrowing the blood vessels. By blocking this hormone, it helps to widen the blood vessels, reducing the pressure within them and improving blood flow. This ultimately lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other complications. It should be taken orally, usually once a day, with or without food.
