Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that helps relax and widen the blood vessels, allowing for easier blood flow, thereby lowering blood pressure. Olmesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that works by preventing the action of a hormone that narrows blood vessels, resulting in reduced blood pressure.
