Description

Ovral-L Tab 21’s is a medicine that contains a combination of Ethinyl Estradiol and Levonorgestrel. Ethinyl Estradiol is a synthetic form of the hormone estrogen, while Levonorgestrel is a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone. This product is commonly used as an oral contraceptive or birth control pill. It works by preventing ovulation, altering the cervical mucus to prevent sperm from reaching the egg, and modifying the uterine lining to make it less receptive to implantation. Ovral-L Tab 21’s is taken daily for a period of 21 days, followed by 7 days of placebo pills or no pills. This cycle is repeated to maintain effective contraception.
