Ovuloc-LD Tab 28’s is a contraceptive medicine that contains the active ingredients Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol. It is used as an oral contraceptive to prevent pregnancy. Desogestrel is a progestin hormone that inhibits ovulation, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. Ethinylestradiol is an estrogen hormone that helps regulate the menstrual cycle and prevents the release of eggs from the ovaries. Ovuloc-LD Tab 28’s is taken once a day for 28 consecutive days, following the arrows on the blister pack. It is important to take the medicine at the same time each day to ensure effectiveness. Ovuloc-LD Tab 28’s should not be used during pregnancy or if you have a history of blood clotting disorders. It does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases.
