Description

Telmed-AH Tablet is a prescription medicine that contains a combination of three active ingredients: Hydrochlorothiazide, Amlodipine, and Telmisartan. It is primarily used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that helps the kidneys to remove excess water and salt from the body, thereby reducing fluid retention and lowering blood pressure. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens the blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels and prevents narrowing, thus decreasing blood pressure. Telmed-AH Tablet is usually prescribed when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by a single antihypertensive drug. It helps in managing hypertension and reducing the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure, such as heart attack and stroke.
