MONTEKIUKAST: Montelukast is a drug that belongs to a class of medications called leukotriene receptor antagonists. It is commonly marketed under the brand name Singulair. Montelukast is primarily used to manage the symptoms of asthma and relieve seasonal allergic rhinitis.

For the management of seasonal allergic rhinitis, the recommended dose for adults and adolescents is 10mg taken once daily.

When it comes to side effects, montelukast is generally well-tolerated. The most common side effects include headache, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, fever, dizziness, and rash.
