Description

Brinzox-T Eye Drop is a combination medication containing Timolol and Brinzolamide. Timolol is a beta-blocker while Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. This eye drop is primarily used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. By reducing the production of aqueous humor in the eye, Timolol and Brinzolamide help in lowering the IOP, thus preventing optic nerve damage and vision loss associated with glaucoma. The combined effect of these two active ingredients provides a more effective reduction of IOP compared to using each medication alone. Brinzox-T Eye Drop is for topical use only. It should be used as prescribed by the doctor, typically one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily. It is important to follow the instructions and precautions provided with the medication.
