Cilacar-C 10/12. 5 Tablet is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients: Chlorthalidone (10 mg) and Cilnidipine (12. 5 mg). Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water pill) that helps in reducing the amount of water and salt in the body, thereby lowering the blood pressure. Cilnidipine, on the other hand, is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood. This medicine is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients who require a combination of a diuretic and a calcium channel blocker.
