CTD-T 12. 5/40 Tablet is a medicine formulated with a combination of two active ingredients: Chlorthalidone and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic medication that helps to reduce fluid retention and lower blood pressure. Telmisartan, on the other hand, belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) that relaxes blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood and lowering blood pressure. CTD-T 12. 5/40 Tablet is primarily prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults.
