The Ctd-T AM 12. 5/40/5mg Tablet is a medicine that contains a combination of three active ingredients: Chlorthalidone (12. 5mg), Amlodipine (5mg), and Telmisartan (40mg). Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that helps in reducing the amount of water and salt in the body by increasing urine production. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes the blood vessels, allowing smoother blood flow and reducing high blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that helps in widening the blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, and preventing kidney damage caused by diabetes. The Ctd-T AM 12. 5/40/5mg Tablet is primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and help manage related conditions such as angina (chest pain) and heart failure.
