Description

Divacon Tab 21’s is a medicine that contains a combination of two active ingredients: Ethinyl Estradiol and Levonorgestrel. Ethinyl Estradiol is a synthetic form of the female hormone estrogen, while Levonorgestrel is a synthetic form of the female hormone progestin. This combination is commonly used as an oral contraceptive. Divacon Tab 21’s works by preventing the release of an egg from the ovary (ovulation) and by altering the cervical mucus and the lining of the uterus, making it difficult for sperm to reach the egg and for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. It is an effective method of birth control when taken as directed. This product is typically taken once daily for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day break before starting a new pack.
