Duoluton-L Tab 21’s is a medicine that contains a combination of two active ingredients: Ethinyl Estradiol and Levonorgestrel. Ethinyl Estradiol is a synthetic form of estrogen, while Levonorgestrel is a synthetic form of progesterone. This medicine is primarily used as an oral contraceptive or birth control pill. It works by preventing ovulation and altering the cervical mucus and uterine lining to make it difficult for sperm to reach the uterus. Duoluton-L Tab 21’s is a 21-day pack, which means it contains 21 tablets to be taken each day at the same time for effective contraception. Besides its contraceptive properties, Duoluton-L Tab 21’s may also be prescribed to regulate menstrual cycles, treat acne, and reduce the symptoms of conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
