Description

Esiflo 250 Transcap is a medicine that combines two active ingredients – Salmeterol and Fluticasone – in a single capsule. Salmeterol belongs to a class of drugs known as long-acting beta-agonists (LABAs), which work by relaxing the muscles in the airways to improve breathing. Fluticasone, on the other hand, is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the lungs. Esiflo 250 Transcap is primarily used for the maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 12 years and older. It helps prevent symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness by controlling inflammation and opening up the airways. While it is not intended for quick relief of acute asthma attacks, it can be used in combination with a rescue inhaler for better symptom management.
