Gluformin-I 1g Tablet is a medicine that contains Metformin as its active ingredient. Metformin is a commonly prescribed medication for individuals with type 2 diabetes. It belongs to the class of drugs known as biguanides, which work by decreasing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and improving the body’s response to insulin. Gluformin-I 1g Tablet is used to control high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes, either alone or in combination with other antidiabetic medications. It helps lower blood sugar levels by increasing the sensitivity of muscle cells to insulin, allowing glucose to be better absorbed by the body cells.
