Magnamont-L Tablet is a medicine that contains Montelukast and Levocetirizine as its active ingredients. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps to relieve symptoms of asthma and prevent asthma attacks. It works by blocking the substances in the body that cause inflammation and narrowing of the airways. Levocetirizine, on the other hand, is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of histamine in the body, thereby treating allergic conditions such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. This combination medication is prescribed to treat and control symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis in adults and children aged 6 years and above. It helps in managing breathing difficulties, reducing the frequency of asthma attacks, and relieving symptoms like nasal congestion, itchy/watery eyes, and sneezing caused by seasonal allergies or environmental triggers.
