Occumox Drops is a medicine that contains the active ingredient Moxifloxacin. Moxifloxacin belongs to a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. These drops are primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections. Occumox Drops work by inhibiting the growth and spread of bacteria in the eyes, thereby eliminating the infection. They are commonly prescribed for conditions such as conjunctivitis (pink eye), corneal ulcers, and other external eye infections caused by susceptible bacteria. The usual recommended dosage is 1 to 2 drops every 2 hours for the first two days and then 1 to 2 drops every 4 hours for up to 7 days.
