Description

Prostagard 8 Mg Capsule is a medicine that contains Silodosin as its active ingredient. It belongs to a class of drugs called alpha-1 blockers, which work by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. This medicine is primarily used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH) in men. Symptoms of BPH include difficulty starting urination, weak urine flow, frequent urination, and the feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder. Prostagard 8 Mg Capsule helps in relieving these symptoms by improving urinary flow and reducing the need to urinate frequently. It is also known to reduce the risk of urinary retention (inability to fully empty the bladder).
