Sensiclav-BD Syp. is a medicine that contains a combination of two active ingredients: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxycillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid, on the other hand, is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps Amoxycillin to be effective against bacteria producing beta-lactamase enzymes, which can deactivate antibiotics.
