Silodal-D8 Capsule is a medicine composed of Dutasteride and Silodosin. Dutasteride belongs to a group of drugs called 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors, which work by reducing the size of the prostate gland in men with an enlarged prostate. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier for urine to flow. Silodal-D8 Capsule is primarily used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as frequent urination, difficulty starting and maintaining urination, and a weak urine flow. It is a prescription medication that is taken orally, usually once a day, under medical supervision.
