Telma CT 80/6. 25 Tablet is a medicine that contains a combination of two active ingredients, namely Chlorthalidone and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic or water pill that helps the body eliminate excess water and salt, reducing water retention and thereby lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), which function by relaxing blood vessels, allowing for easier blood flow and reducing blood pressure. Telma CT 80/6. 25 Tablet is primarily prescribed for the treatment of hypertension or high blood pressure. It works by decreasing the blood volume, thus reducing the strain on the heart and arteries, leading to improved cardiovascular health.
