Description

Brimolol-5ML is a medicine containing Brimonidine as its active ingredient. Brimonidine is a selective alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that is used to treat ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma. It works by reducing the amount of fluid in the eye and thus decreasing intraocular pressure. Brimolol-5ML is available in the form of eye drops and is administered directly into the eye. It is recommended to apply one drop of Brimolol-5ML in the affected eye(s) twice daily, with an interval of approximately 12 hours between each application. Regular use of Brimolol-5ML as per the prescribed dosage can help control eye pressure and prevent the progression of glaucoma.
