Description

Glimulin-2 Mf Tablet is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients, Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride belongs to a class of drugs called sulfonylureas, which lower blood sugar levels by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. Metformin, on the other hand, belongs to the biguanide class of medications and helps to control blood sugar levels by reducing the production of glucose in the liver and improving the body’s response to insulin. Glimulin-2 Mf Tablet is prescribed to individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus to help lower and maintain their blood sugar levels within the normal range. It is used in combination with a healthy diet and regular exercise. This medication is not suitable for individuals with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
