PPG Met 0. 2 is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients: Metformin and Voglibose. Metformin is an oral antidiabetic medication that helps to lower blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes. It works by reducing the production of glucose by the liver and increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin. Voglibose, on the other hand, is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that slows down the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestines, thereby preventing sudden spikes in blood sugar levels after meals. This combination medicine is prescribed to individuals with type 2 diabetes who have not achieved adequate blood sugar control with metformin alone. PPG Met 0. 2 helps to regulate blood sugar levels throughout the day by enhancing insulin action and reducing the absorption of carbohydrates from the diet.
