Description

Tenlifil-M Tablet is a medicine which consists of two active ingredients: Metformin and Teneligliptin. Metformin is an oral antidiabetic medication that helps control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. It works by reducing glucose production in the liver, decreasing glucose absorption in the intestine, and increasing insulin sensitivity in the body. Teneligliptin, on the other hand, is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that regulates blood glucose levels as well. It works by blocking the enzyme responsible for breaking down incretin hormones, which stimulate insulin release and inhibit glucagon secretion. This leads to increased insulin production and reduced blood sugar levels. Tenlifil-M Tablet is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It helps to lower blood sugar levels and reduce the risk of complications associated with uncontrolled diabetes.
